WHO WE ARE

Learning Telugu is the birth right of every Telugu child regardless of where the child is born or being brought up. The first teachers to teach Telugu are the parents. Parents living outside Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana tend to speak in English as it the language spoken

Teaching Telugu at home to children living outside Telugu states is a team effort. The team consists of the student, student’s parents and the online lessons library.

The aim of collective effort is to make students speak in Telugu at home, social events and with extended families back home. Each of these players has challenges as well as expectations.

Let’s Learn Telugu series of study material (consisting of books, posters and games) can meet some of these challenges and expectations.

Let’s Learn Telugu series of study material provide students a learning experience that is Interesting, Enticing and Smart.

SMART

Interesting!      Yes, the books are printed attractively on high quality paper with full colour illustrations. Many helpful details are provided for teachers and parents. This will provide a homogeneous style of teaching Telugu to children both at school and at home (by parents).

Enticing!          Yes, a picture speaks 1000 words. The books have many coloured pictures to make them more attractive. Each Telugu word is spelt in Romanised English for easy pronunciation along with its English meaning. The exercises are simple but make the student curious to solve them and thus make each lesson effective. There are several class room based “enactments” to try out what’s learnt.

Smart!              Yes, the “outcomes based” approach makes the students use their Telugu language skills in their real life effectively as they progress, which is the true test of learning a language.
